چکیده

We report the structural, magnetic properties, and magnetocaloric effect of a new polycrystalline compound $\mathrm{Tb_2Rh_3Ge}$. This present crystallizes with $\mathrm{Mg_2Ni_3Si}$-type rhombohedral Laves phases (space group $R\overline{3}m$, hR18). The properties $\mathrm{Tb_2Rh_3Ge}$ is explored through dc-magnetization measurements. Temperature dependence magnetization revealed that exhibits ferromagnetic behavior $T_C$$=$56 K. field indicates soft ferromagnet. obtained isothermal entropy changes ($\Delta S_m$), refrigeration capacity (relative power cooling) for change 0-9 T are 12.74 J/kg-K, 497(680) J/kg respectively. Arrott plots universal curve normalized $\Delta S_m$ indicate this undergoes second order phase transition
